From ANDRAS JONES: JJ GONSON is an accomplished artist and the owner of Once In Somerville. We went to high school together in the Massachusetts in the 80’s. She and our musical guest MARY LOU LORD both worked with Elliott Smith and Nirvana in the 90’s and then, as we will hear, their kids played music together in the 00’s. I remember JJ being one of the coolest girls from my high school and Mary Lou as one of the coolest young women I got to know on the scene in Olympia. That being the case, I always feel a little bit like a dork around either of them, let alone both of them. I talk too much, too loudly and generally devolve into a younger less confident version of myself trying too hard. I hope this is as entertaining to you as it is embarrassing to me. See, there I did it again.
