Hey Synchronicity Surfers!

Last May we shot a "pilot" for The Radio8Ball Show with Andrea Wittgens as the musical guest. Now you can see the promotional video online at the Radio8Ball MySpace site.

I want to thank Terraform Films and Von Piglet Productions for producing the video, and I especially want to thank all of the beautiful courageous charismatic souls who contributed their questions, their spirits and their pressence to the event.

On the most recent R8Broadcast (7/18) I asked how to know when I am being a “boring hater.” This question was inspired by the situation I am facing in my hometown of Olympia, Washington (detailed in my blog “KAOS KONTROVERSY”.)

On Thursday, July 10th KAOS Program Director Jerry Drummond informed me that Radio8Ball was being replaced immediately by a “women’s show.” The reason given was that now that Radio8Ball is a “successful show in Seattle it no longer fits the KAOS mission statement to provide under-represented programming.”

For almost ten years I have been speaking about 08-08-08 as The Pop Oracle’s holiest day, and now it is upon us.

I wish I could tell you all the details of the crazy shit that’s been happening to me this spring. Things are falling apart and reforming all over the place. Projects which seemed long dead are emerging like fertile buds in an ignored garden. Once indisposable relationships are winding up in the mulch bin and the wind keeps blowing beauty and inspiration into my life. It hurts like a bitch but not always in an entirely unpleasant way.
