Spring is all about sex. It’s just the way we’re built. We at Radio8Ball have chosen to honor this season by concocting two shows that will be sure titillate and entertain.

First off, on April 11th we’ve got Nina Hartley who has been acting in porn films and speaking out for free speech and sex positivity since the early 80’s as our Celbrity Skype-In guest. The music for this show will be provided by Radio8Ball favorite Jenny Jenkins whose ukulele driven ditties are full of insightful sexual innuendo and exploration. Add in the bawdy bodacious broadsides of burlesque comedienne Nicole Lucas and this is going to be one seriously punchy, juicy show.

Then, on April 25th, we have a more penetrating visit to The Pop Oracle featuring academy award nominated actor John C. Reilly as a our Celebrity Skype-In guest for a “Walk Hard” themed Radio8Ball Show featuring Dan Bern who wrote many of the finest songs for Reilly to perform in his role as Dewey Cox in that film. The Pop Oracle will be pre-loaded with songs written for “Walk Hard” and Dan Bern will be accompanied by Common Rotation. This evening will also feature a synchromystic film exploration of the John C. Reilly by Jake Kotze and Jim Sanders as well as films from Bernsteinn. To round out the evening, the show will be opened by comedian Derek Sheen who could have played a roadie in “Walk Hard” but didn’t.
