Behold the NEW Online Oracle from Radio8Ball!!!Submitted by admin on March 1, 2009 - 11:26pm.
The latest version of this popular Pop Oracle application is simple, elegant and filled with music you’ve probably never heard before. That is, unless you’re a regular listener to the Radio8Ball broadcasts and podcasts, in which case you may have heard when these songs were originally recorded. Featuring Radio8Ball favorites like Ian Moore, Veda Hille, Dan Bern, Mirah, Andrea Wittgens, Sandman, Andy Dick, Scott Taylor, Jim Page, Anya Marina, Jon Auer, Willie Wisely and many more, this Online Oracle is fuelled almost entirely with organic locally grown ingredients, including quite a few of my own songs, some of which I even sing.
Once you get your song answer, don’t stop there. Visit the website of the artist who performed the song, and don’t forget to seek out interpretations of the corresponding tarot cards. Sometimes the synchronicities are hiding in the cracks of the context of the answer even if they are not immediately evident in the song upon first listen. I invite you to have fun with this latest Online Oracle. It’s portable and you can plant it on your own site and share it with your friends. It’s just as private and free as ever but you now have the option to post your questions and answers to the forum and I hope you do so (at least some of the time.) Be generous and vulnerable in your shares and your comments. This is the third version of The Online Oracle from Radio8Ball and I offer it to you to do with as thou wilt, with one small piece of advice; balance you humor with sincerity and your sincerity with humor, and you will always find your answer, and it will never drive you mad. Find your balance, and PLAY BALL!!! |

My personal experience in December
I'm not sure if here or the Facebook fan page or somewhere else is the best place for testimonials, but I had to post my experience somewhere for the staff and fans to stumble across.
My friend Daniel Monk invited me to the live Radio 8 Ball show at the Little Red Studio a few months ago in December. I had not heard of it before that, but found several of my friends there anyway and settled in to enjoy the experience. I had been going through some hard times that have recently resulted in an impending divorce, but at that time I was still struggling with the process of working on my flagging relationship. My question was chosen 2nd or 3rd and Andrea Wittgen addressed it perfectly through song in a very rewarding emotional way. I describe the experience hearing Gillian Welch's cong Good Til Now here:

Thank you for a rewarding and moving experience. I look forward to going to the live show again (with more friends) and to exploring your radio, television and online incarnations.
Namaste,
Tony the Tiger
