For today’s 5th installment of our Pop Oracle sessions with Colleen Green we are joined by Alexis Smart. She’s on the show ostensibly to promote Alexis Smart Flower Remedies and (no lie) her remedies are good medicine but (in truth) that’s not why I invited her. I invited Alexis because she is simply one of the most interesting people I know. If I could tell you the whole tale I would but it’s not my story to tell.
I will tell you this. When Alexis and Lili Haydn were teenagers they used to hang out with me and my friend Josh Clayton-Felt, who were slightly older teenagers. I talk about Josh a lot on this show. He was my best friend and first serious musical collaborator in a band called The Boon. When we were all so impossibly young Josh and Alexis fell in love. Maybe it broke up our band but I didn’t think so. All I know is that I never called her “Yoko” and if I had it would have been a compliment.
Josh may have been the first rock star to fall in love with Alexis but he wasn’t the last. Like I say, that’s her story to tell, not mine. All I can say is that whatever Alexis is charging for a private flower remedy session is worth it (if you can afford it) and I’m glad she was on the show.
