From ANDRAS JONES: GABRIEL GORDON is near the beginning of monthly residency at The Hotel Cafe (the July show is in two days, on the 19th) and to kick it off he’s doing a Pop Oracle session with us for Starburns Audio. Gabriel came to our attention when he joined our Joni Mitchell tribute at the last minute. That’s a great one! Here, in our opening segment, we narrowly avert a bad vibe before digging into stories of Miles Davis, Gabriel’s beautiful inscrutable songs, and of course, the town of Gurgaon.
