From ANDRAS JONES: Last night I attended an event celebrating the season 2 premier of Lodge 49 with series creator JIM GAVIN & PETER OCKO and a bunch of the castmembers. I showed up right before the screening started. Sat in the back. And found myself surrounded. In front of me was the show’s star WYATT RUSSELL and to my left episode one director JAKE SCHREIER. Filtered throughout the crowd were cast and crew. I won’t tell you all their names but I will say that some characters you love are coming back big time!
Meanwhile, about a week before, JIM GAVIN was a guest on Radio8Ball, answering my nerdy questions about his show and asking his own nerdy questions about his beloved 2004 Saturn Ion. By the time most of you read this LODGE 49 is going to be a big hit or a cult classic. It’s too good to be anything else, and I can only hope Jim’s still rocking that turn of the millenium Saturn through it all like some 21st century Jim Rockford.
Oh, and here’s a nifty twist of sync. I was wearing my THE ESSEX GREEN shirt to to the show at The Paley Center tonight and Jim recognized it. Turns out he’s a fan. I told him to check out their Radio8Ball episode. You should too.

Y’see I had me an epiphanal exchange with a supermarket grocer

Put it back
on the rack
said, “I changed my mind”

That was the best advice I got all year
