Oh boy there is a lot to work with here. If Jesus arose like a chocolate Easter Bunny, might he be mistaken for a shit ghost? And wouldn’t that be the ultimate April Fool’s joke? And what if, instead of a chocolate Easter Bunny, it was a chocolate Easter Groundhog, symbolizing the time trap of the colonized mind? I’ve always had trouble with Easter since, as a Jew, it appears to be the celebration of a lynching, gussied up with a magical story to justify yet another state murder of a minority. Or maybe, if you want to go full pagan about it, you could view the Shit Ghost as a symbol of fertilizer and nature’s renewal and transformation of our refuse into new life. Like I said, lots to work with here.
