From ANDRAS JONES: We draw to the close of our Pop Oracle session with FORD PIER peering into the oracle of his own songs for the answer to his question, inspired by the Marcel Proust questionnaire. The day before we recorded this session in Vancouver, the city of Toronto experienced a random act of violence carried out by a man who identified as a part of the “incel” (involuntary celibacy) community. The mind of such a man is brilliantly, bitingly, frighteningly exposed in Ford’s song “The Dark Women”.
