From Morty Coyle: In keeping with Radio8Ball’s often synchronized happenstance, when All Day Sucker was presented with another opportunity to appear (and for a beloved Harry Nilsson tribute no less) it was not without issue. My partner, Jordan Summers and the rest of the band (Dan, David and Jay) were all in various parts of the world touring. So, knowing that our unofficial 6th Sucker and my oldest singing partner Jordan Zevon was also a lifelong Nilsson fan I begged him all of once to participate on one of my favorite Harry songs from my favorite movie, “All That Jazz”. Our Kibitz Tuesday bandmate Rick Torres joined in and we were stoked to get Harry’s son Kiefo in to grace us with low end. And just to keep the generational theme strong we added the back up singing debut of Jordan’s daughter, Willow and my daughter, Beatrix. Perfect Day indeed.
From Andras Jones: All I’d like to add is to point out that Todd’s memory of hearing “Coconut” and “Without You” on the same day as a child on a day at the beach in 1971 sounds like a memory of a perfect day.
