Bruce Witkin
&
Pete Molinari

From ANDRAS JONES: When our session at Starburns fell through (for reasons which will be explored in tomorrow’s finale) BRUCE WITKIN offered up his place as a shelter from the storm. The session was long and hot and Bruce kept it cool from beginning to end. Unison Studio, where we recorded this session is the place PETE MOLINARI made his upcoming record for We Are Hear music. Bruce has a great story to tell of growing up in Florida with a mom who worked with bands and a friend named Johnny Depp with whom he formed the band The Kids and moved out to LA where, to say the least, things got interesting. As cool as that is, Bruce would much rather talk about his present day work with Pete than his glory days with Mr. Depp and The Hollywood Vampires.

POP ORACLE Song of The Day (July 10, 2019): CHRIS SAND aka Sandman The Rappin’ Cowboy “Friendster Testimonial”

Born To Be Blue

Well I’ve been lovesick babe and lonely Got no place to call my home
And my feet feel weak below me From the days and nights I’ve roamed

Well have no fear, of what you’re feeling

I tilt my head, stare at the ceiling,

You know, it’s true

Well I could tell a tale or two about

The travesties I’ve seen

But I don’t believe society

Will leave its mark on me

The words unsaid, we should not mention

To break your heart, is not my intention

Believe me, it’s true

I was born to be blue

Have no fear, of what you’re feeling

Go tilt your hat, stare at the ceiling

You know it’s true

You were born to be blue

Love don’t show no mercy

And it’s so unforgiving too

Love don’t take no prisoners

Will make you feel the laughs on you

But it could be your savior too

I was born to be blue

If i could be your prize possession girl You might not feel alone
Or you could hear my hearts confession When, sorrow made my days her own

Well have no fear, it’s just fate that’s calling I look around, and I see I’m falling, through

It’s true,

That I was Born to be Blue

It’s true,

That you were born to be too

It’s true

That I was born to love you
