From ANDRAS JONES: JON AUER of The Posies has been overwhelmingly generous with his time to Radio8Ball. That all started 12 years ago today, when he was live musical guest on our show on KAOS. Here are two musical divinations from that show, including his cover of Elvis Costello’s “Beyond Belief”. Elvis Costello has been a big booster of Jenny Lewis and the last time I saw her perform live was at The Bridge Concert on a bill with Elvis. Synchronistically, Jenny Lewis came out with a video today in which she does her own version of Pop Oracling. All of this roundly celebrated and mocked by the Pop Oracle song of the day from Bloody Death Skull.
